First off I want to thank Captain JP and Amanda for putting on a first class Pulley ridge lite trip on the Yankee Capts. My goal for this trip was to jig the whole time...and jig I did. My catch included scamp grouper, red grouper, mutton snapper, kingfish, blackfin tuna, and sand tiles. Thanks also goes to Bryan @dietz.bryan at NLO jigs. Bryan was able to put together a package of jigs and assist hooks for the trip and they did not disappoint. If you need anything for slow pitch I high recommend reaching out to them. I’m looking forward to trying their jigs this season on some northern species. Thanks Dan Harley for sending along some of his new Palmarius slow pitch rods for the trip. I used the number 2 rod and it performed great matched with my Accurate Valiant 500n. Thanks to Sean Loy @sloy44 for the Accurates! The 500n was the go to reels all trip and they performed flawlessly. It was so nice to be a customer and be able to bend a rod. I can’t wait til next year! ... See MoreSee Less
